What this policy covers

This policy describes how AdvnturHub (“we,” “us”) handles information when you visit advnturhub.com.

Information we collect

• Site analytics. Standard, aggregated technical data (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device/browser type, referral channel, and outbound affiliate clicks) may be collected through Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics 4 only after you select Accept in the consent banner. Affiliate-click events contain a page path, product/category identifiers, tracking ID, source channel, and destination host; the event schema does not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, or full query strings.
• Forms. The newsletter signup asks for your email address and uses Resend when sending is enabled. Custom trip-planner requests are currently paused. If that service returns, we will explain what information it collects before taking requests.
• Cookies. We use only the minimum cookies/local storage needed for the site to function (for example, remembering adventures you have saved and your analytics choice). We do not use advertising cookies at this time. Analytics does not load after rejection, and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in our Google Analytics configuration.

Third parties

Nearby search sends the location you enter to OpenStreetMap services (Nominatim and Overpass) and, when configured, uses that approximate location to request nearby public records from the National Park Service, Recreation.gov, and Foursquare. Vercel hosts the site and may process basic request logs. Resend processes form data when delivery is configured, and Stripe processes payment details for paid products without sharing your card number with us. Outbound planning sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Outbound links to Google Maps, AllTrails, Amazon, and other sources are provided for planning or product research. Place suggestions send the text you type, after at least three characters, to Photon, an OpenStreetMap-based location service. “Use my location” and “Search nearby” request your browser's permission. Coordinates are rounded to three decimal places before being sent to AdvnturHub, Photon, and the outdoor data providers to find nearby places. Coordinates are not added to the page URL or saved in your browser. Search records may be cached temporarily by our hosting and database services to reduce repeat requests. You can decline location permission and enter a town and state instead.

Data retention and deletion

We keep contact details and trip requests only as long as needed to deliver the requested service, maintain required business records, or honor an unsubscribe request. Aggregate analytics retention follows the configured analytics-property settings, and diagnostic affiliate events may also appear in short-lived hosting logs. If you want your data deleted, contact us using the email below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Contact us and we’ll respond as required by applicable law.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when this policy changes, and will note it clearly on the site if a change is material (for example, if we start running analytics or storing form submissions).
